Sir Winston Churchill, Prime Minister and war leader of Britain during World War II, died on the 24th January 1965. Before 1940 he was thought by some to be a braggart, turncoat and warmonger but had held more cabinet posts than anyone in British history and often, during the war, put into words what the British people were thinking.
The display contains the commemorative crown and the two commemorative British postage stamps.
The crown is in uncirculated condition and the stamps are in mint condition as issued.
The item is housed in a display/protection case. The set can be removed from the case for framing if so desired.
