The Churchill Trust granted West End Publishing access to Winston Churchill's vast trove of paintings for a series of limited edition lithographs. "A Study in Boats" was the second issued. The painting, completed in 1933, was one of Churchill's most celebrated, gracing the covers of numerous publications, including the new catalogue raisonne, "SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL: His Life and His Paintings" (See item # 9380). "A Study in Boats" has been displayed many times throughout the years. The original belonged to Clementine Churchill herself. This lithograph measures 23 x 20 1/2 inches, and is limited to an edition of 750. It is sold here unframed, though framing is available, please inquire. (See also item # 10587.)
