The Superior finish on these mats will:
* Resist all reasonable food and beverage stains
* Withstand heat of 100 degrees centigrade
Size: 21.5cm x 29cm

Churchill enjoyed many painting holidays in the South of France. This particular work from around 1933 was formely in the Collection of Lady Churchill.
Churchill: The Painter
Churchill's talent was multi-facetted, he was a soldier, politician, wartime leader, writer and historian. In 1915, at the age of 41 Churchill discovered a natural talent as an artist and for the rest of his life he painted enthusiastically. His art embraced many subjects and locations in Britain and around the world. Churchill painted over 500 canvases predominantly of landscapes, but also still lifes and self portraits.
